So many things that make us smile this week really.
First was the release of The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Announced for release on 1st Oct we never got to see it till Thursday when Gamer's Hideout finally got their stock.
We totally heart heart heart Zelda. Although admittedly the only Zelda games we ever played were: Gameboy: Link's Awakening (our first Zelda game ever!) Gameboy Color: Oracle Of Seasons (oh dear, where's the cartridge gone...) Gameboy Advance: A Link To The Past (finished this and returned it while in UK) Gameboy Advance: The Minish Cap (sadly the cartridge cannot save games anymore :S)
See, so many we have yet to play, especially the Gamecube/Wii ones. But currently we absolutely LOVE this one. All the controls are done via the stylus! Now once we've finished this we'll be digging out our old Zelda games for another go-through...
Hey, Moulin Rouge! I loved it to bits! I fondly remember it and its theme song because it was themed around Paris and coincidentally, I was visiting Paris with my friends at the time of its release. Oh, what a blast!
By the way, Jan, nice to know that you are my sis's junior. Were you also studying Pharmacy at the University of Stratclyde? What year were you graduated?
And, if you are coming to Penang, don't forget to visit Island Plaza FF, ok? Hope to meet you in FF soon. Cheers, mate!
ooo, i see you really have a thing for retro things! and yeah they said zelda is the best rpg of all time, another option other than final fantasy (which is getting all look and no story, sigh). moulin rouge is great! i don't mind watching it over and over again! haha

I think I should get a console since everyone has one.
*sob sob
Oooo Dune. I never read the rest of the Dune series after Dune... I don't know why.
Cheeky Zelda, funny Buffalax, heh. This almost brought smile to our face too.
Moulin Rouge 2!? Any good?
Dune!!! Brings back the good ol' days :D

Darn! You did the Moskau piece already. Never mind, I'm doing the Indian one then. :D

I Lol'd out of bed when i watched the Moskau clip. What indeed does one get at a Hy... Store?
I shudder to contemplate.
IMHO, don't get the whole Rent album. There's really only one or two good songs in it, SOL being about the best.
Never liked Dune. But how was Pratchett? And where on earth do u find the time to read?!
See u in jam tmw!
if my N64 still worked i would so let you have a taste of zelda ocarina of time. sigh
Adrien, go fix it!
ocarina of time can be played on the pc with emulators.
all i have to say is: Moskau! Enter the Hymen Store!!!
QR: We're playing the Zelda on a handheld at the mo'. Must finish Dune series!
Hrugaar: Awww. Mayhaps not the time for smiles yet. :P
Savante: Some songs straight from the movie, yay! Instrumentals a bit disappointing.
Cyclohelix: Altho' the good old days for us would include voices saying, "Construction complete."
David The Man: Loved Moulin Rouge! ourselves! Oh and haven't been to FF Island Plaza in a year already.
Sam: You're probably left with the Girly Man vid...:P
Conan_Cat: As an rpg it's certainly different from the rest of the genre - it's more puzzle-based, which could be why we love it so much.
Wingedman: Two men were scorched and burned from entering the Hy... Store we took it. :D
Thanks for the feedback re Rent! Making Money could have been better, we do miss our old favourites. :(
Sorry yah we can never find time to talk properly in Jam!
Adrien: Sokay. It'll be available on Virtual Console. By the way, that profile pic imitating Audrey Hepburn...it's actually rather scary.
Aik Yong: We'll make sure that song never leaves your head!
