Mechanic Waltz Musical

Janvier
I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay
Ain't it sad?
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me
That's too bad...1

Mechanic
That would quite fit the bill
If she hadn't so often been ill
Little dear, cost us dear
Medicines are expensive, M'sieur...2

Janvier
A few questions that I need to know
How you could ever hurt me so
I need to know what I've done wrong
And how long it's been going on
Was it that I never paid enough attention?
Or did I not give enough affection?
Not only will your answers keep me safe
But I'll know never to make the same mistake again
You can tell it to my face
Or even on the phone
You can write it in a letter
Either way I have to know3

Mechanic
Gimme gimme more
Gimme more
Gimme gimme more
Gimme gimme more
Gimme more
Gimme gimme more4

Janvier
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open5

Mechanic
Poor fool, he makes me laugh!
Hahahahaha! Haha haha haha haha haha haha haha haha6

Janvier
Out of reach
Couldn't see
We were never
Meant to be

So much hurt
So much pain
Takes a while
To regain
What is lost inside
And I hope that in time
You'll be out of my mind
And I'll be over you7

Mechanic
Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day8

Janvier
No more words. Here's your price.
Fifteen hundred for your sacrifice.
Come, Cosette, say goodbye
Let us seek out some friendlier sky.
Thank you both for Cosette
It won't take you too long to forget.2

Well we didn't haggle with our mechanic nor leave on bad graces. But the bill actually did come up to fifteen hundred to get the timing belt and some valves replaced.

Ha! I actually recognized all the songs. Took me a while to recall Never Ever though.

The timing belt does cost a pretty penny.

Hehe!
This is so funny,
But not the money,
Oh it's really a pity,
If you asked me.
