Lazyman's Wrapping 106

As we've got an XBox 360 game to wrap up this time, and things in these shapes tells the recipient, 'DVD case' immediately.

Presenting, the padded envelope. Similar to Lesson 102, but here you've got to make sure the envelope's big enough to fit the case. In our case we got a...7" by 12" padded envelope, although in retrospect we might as well have gotten a bigger envelope to further add ambiguity to present identification. The 7" by 12" will fit a CD case just right though.

Requires:
Padded envelope.
Wrapping paper.

Yet another mistake we did was to seal the envelope - we could have just folded the flap in. That way, recipient gets two presents: a padded envelope to use as well as the XBox 360 game. Now recipient will need to use own cellophane or Scotch tape.

Wrap envelope.

Voila. Stick on a card if you are a bit more hardworking.

Think your game CD packaging is different shape to ours then.

You can get much bigger padded envelope, put package inside and then fold envelope over - gives much more padded anonymous shape (but still fairly guessable, heh).

Of course, huggies to Ru too for getting me an XBOX 360. :D *huggies hard hard*

But still sitting on my desk this gift is. Waiting for XBOX to magically show up at my doorstep either today or tomorrow. >.>

Should have wrapped it in 10 layers of newspapers then dumped it into a DHL Jumbo Box for more wrapping.

Hrugaar: Is it slightly bigger? We remember that the PC DVD games even then surprised us by being in DVD cases and not in big customized boxes.

Pr3tty Knitty: The friend wasn't that interested in Halo 3 when we baited it.

Jason: Actually, lazyman stops wrapping once it's in the envelope. You got options. :D

Savante: Online after the present has been seen!

Strapping Shane: XBox shall come soon! Sorry lah really cannot find Dead Rising.

William: Unfortunately there was no time for us to do so. DHL punya Jumbo Box you tolong provide yes? :D

Aik Yong: You got the PC version yet?

Adrien: Haha mana boleh post before present has been given?

Yes, our games all seem to come in regular DVD cases.

No worries la. :) Bioshock was actually my 2nd / 3rd choice? after Dead Rising. Gears of War was also another choice. :)

At least you didn't get me Halo 3; I'm glad. :D

Go for Oblivion (the xbox360 game, not the after-the-party effect, heh). You know it makes sense. :)

Hrugaar: The CD packaging's the same shape then. :D Probably looks different cos' it's being slotted into envelope.

Plus only done after-party Oblivion once. :D

Sam: Yep. And if Bioshock was also out of stock you'd have gotten Gears of War. And if that was out of stock you'd have gotten Bullet Witch! :P

QR: Bio-Shock kah? Or the game? :P

Aik Yong: It looks cool, the trailer's awesome, but it's still a FPS dammit. Oh and have YouTubed the endings. :D
